MAIN FEATURES
There shall be five workshops on the 16th December '98, on:
Total Knee Replacement
Interlocking nailing
Deformity correction with External Fixators
Spinal Instrumentation/ Anterior approaches
Flaps in Orthopaedic Surgery
It shall be on 17th December. This year's theme is " Paediatric Orthopaedics". Convenor for the programme is:

Arrangements are being made by the Organising Committee. Air traffic at Jabalpur is likely to be resumed from August/September 1998.
(a) Local sight-seeing tours to the famous Marble Rocks and Dhuandhaar waterfalls, and to Bargi Dam will be arranged.
(b) Ladies' programme will include sight-seeing tours to Pisan hari Ki Marhiya, madan Mahal and for shopping. There shall be free Mehandi sessions and demonstrations of facial and hair make-ups etc.
(c) There will be, at the venue, a children's park with various amusements and activities.
(d) A relaxation park with a free 24 hour tea/ coffee/ cold drink outlet and plenty of sitting area for social interaction outside the lecture theatres.
(e) An exhibition on "Orthopaedic Art": consisting of paintings, sketches, collages and sculptures on orthopaedic themes.
(f) The Conference Banquet will also include a historic "Light and Sound show on the history of Indian Orthopaedics".
(g) The Organising Committee is also arranging tours to Kanha and Bandhavgarh national parks ("Project Tiger"), Khajuraho and to Jewel of Madhya Pradesh- Pachmarhi.
